You mean I don't have to wear pink?


Let's all applaud the NHL for selling a women's cut hockey jersey in the team's...wait for it...actual colors. I don't know what made the NHL fathom the idea that female sports fans might want to wear something that's not pink (or pastel yellow). And I actually like pink. But not on a hockey jersey. I think we can all agree that the pink glitter version is for girls who are fans of their boyfriends, and the real version is for girls that are fans of their teams.

The women's jersey still isn't quite the high-quality replica that the men's jersey is, as the price indicates...graphics are screen printed on the sweater. I'll probably be sticking to my now old-fashioned Crosby and Staal jerseys for the time being, but I'll definitely consider a women's cut next time.
